Tucson Women's Rugby

Women’s rugby is unique among sports in many ways, but what is most unique is the community that comes along with playing the sport. The Tucson Women’s Rugby Legacy Foundation brings together and empowers the girls and women in the rugby community, to help them develop as players and outstanding members of the rugby community and the larger community overall. We are committed to the improvement of women’s rugby at the high school, college, club and national level.

We believe:

Vision Statement
In order to achieve our vision, we will promote participation in the sport by education, encourage participation and aid financially when needed. We will promote participation by establishing scholarships and financial aid for local high school, collegiate and club women’s rugby players. We will promote playing and training facilities for our programs. We will seek to host and promote educational resources, players’ camps and player and referee development.

Finally, we will promote and participate in worth community services activity, and from this activity, seek positive recognition for our organization and for the women’s rugby community.

These are all skills that women need both on the sporting field and later on in life. You also meet like-minded women and men who become your friends for life.
